Jose came to Tacoma Community House (TCH) seeking support. He began by attending English classes through the Education Department and quickly became engaged in additional services offered at TCH.
After learning about employment support, Jose enrolled in the Center for Strong Families program, where he worked closely with Employment and Financial Coaches. With their guidance, he secured his first job in the United States and remained connected for ongoing support.
When his work hours were later reduced, Jose reached out to his Employment Coach and began searching for new opportunities. Shortly after, his Employment Coach helped him secure a temporary maintenance position with the City of University Place. Through dedication and hard work, this role became permanent.
TCH is proud to have supported Jose on his journey to stable employment. Today, his family is also engaged in programs at TCH, continuing to build skills and strengthen their future together.
