On a warm summer evening, there’s nothing better than the cool, smooth sounds from the Reuel Lubag Trio. The Trio, led by Reuel Lubag, is a well established jazz artist in the Pacific Northwest jazz scene. July Jazz in the Garden was the first in-person fundraising event hosted by Tacoma Community House in well over a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was a great night to share stories about both Tacoma Community House and Tacoma Sister Cities.
A special thanks to our host Nicki Tollefson for graciously opening up her home to host this event, and The Reuel Lubag Trio for providing amazing music. Great music, food, and conversation about Tacoma and the great work both organizations do in the community.
