Winter enrollment is CLOSED but we are accepting enrollment for the Spring Quarter
We are currently offering one Citizenship Class – it is via Zoom platform taught by the trained instructor. You can attend from home via computer, tablet, lap top or even phone. Unfortunately, we do not offer in person classes at this time. We will return to in person instruction once the state allows up to 20 students in the room.
Spring quarter will begin in April, Dates TBD
Schedule:
Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 pm
Fridays, 6 – 7:30 pm
Saturdays – morning at 9 to 11 am.
MUST READ: Please complete the enrollment paperwork (attached) and return it to citizenship@tacomacommunityhouse.org with a copy of your Green Card (both sides) and your WA State ID or DL. The paperwork must be completed before you will be added to the attendance list and provided with the class links. All received paperwork will be reviewed in the first week of January.
All students enrolled in citizenship class are required to attend English testing session at TCH. The dates and testing procedures will be announced and explained in January.
The class is free. Free book and other materials will be issued after 2 weeks of attendance. The free class is possible with the funding from Department of Homeland Security: FY2020 Citizenship and Assimilation Grant Program.
