DESCRIPTION:OneAmerica is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to building power in immigrant and refugee communities. We believe our democracy is stronger when everyone gets to vote and participate. They will host a free Citizenship Day at Tacoma Community House to help eligible legal permanent residents become citizens. \nCitizenship Day is a FREE\, day-long workshop where volunteer immigration attorneys\, paralegals\, and interpreters provide assistance with citizenship applications. All lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders) interested in applying for U.S. citizenship are welcome to participate. Plan to spend at least 5-6 hours at the clinic!
