Welcome Volunteers!

For over 100 years, Tacoma Community House has provided services for refugees, immigrants and American born adults and youth. Throughout the years, TCH has relied upon volunteers to continue to meet the needs of the community. Volunteers accomplish this through: assisting in Adult Basic Education or English as a Second Language classrooms, promoting literacy through one on one tutoring, being positive mentors for youth, helping adults find employment, or assisting in the immigration process. Volunteers have found that being involved in TCH has been very rewarding both to the community and to themselves.
