Crime Victim Advocacy
We provide life-saving and comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child and elder abuse, human trafficking, and more. Advocates also assist those who have experienced identity theft, DUI/DWI Victim, fraud, hate crime, property crime, and other types of crime. Our advocates are equipped with the tools and resources to quickly provide safety, assess and address immediate needs and concerns, and help participants identify and plan their next steps. Our client advocacy team advocates for the health and safety of all our participants.
Our goal is to educate, support and empower survivors as they move from abusive relationships/environments to safe and independent living. Trained advocates help participants by offering free services, including:
- Interpretation and translation
- Legal advocacy
- Referrals to auxiliary services
- Provide information about the justice system
- Victim immigration services
- and more
The objective is to assist our clients as they overcome obstacles (e.g., language and cultural barriers, etc.), to advocate for them through the legal process, and to educate families about their rights, procedures to report and legal resources available to them.
