The demand for Certified Nursing Assistants is growing significantly in Washington State.  Job growth encourages self-sufficient family units, and stable family units encourage healthy communities.

Tacoma Community House and Bates Technical College are partnered to assist you in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. The program is composed of a 5 week CNA course at Bates Technical College, where students will master the skills necessary to become successful in the healthcare industry. Students will also receive one-on-one case management and job placement services.

HOW TO ENROLL

We are actively seeking new students for our Summer Cohort A to begin classes June 12, 2017! Applicants must attend one of the following information sessions at Tacoma Community House, 1314 S. L Street, Tacoma, WA 98405:

  • Wednesday, May 24th @ 10am
  • Wednesday, May 24th @ 3pm
  • Thursday, May 25th @ 1pm
  • Thursday, May 25th @ 3pm

Bring with you:

  • Picture ID
  • Social security card
  • Current immunization record
  • Health insurance card
  • Pay stubs
  • DSHS award letter (medical, cash, or food benefits)
