| Tacoma Community House partners with several local employers, businesses, organizations, and foundations to deliver effective services. Below is a listing of our partners. Employer Partners Our Employer Partners work with our bilingual job developers to place our participants in jobs throughout Pierce County. Tacoma Community House maintains connections with over 140 employers so that we can successfully deliver our employment services. Nonprofit Partners The Nonprofit Partners that Tacoma Community House collaborates with assist us in on the job training for our participants that are transitioning off of welfare. They also provide funding, contingent services, and consulting to our organization. Public Partners Annually, Tacoma Community House contracts with several state and federal agencies to receive funding for our programs and services. Much of this funding is outcome-based, meaning that Tacoma Community House receives funding based on our performance, or in other words the success of our participants. Our public partners are a key piece to our success in helping participants become self-sufficient. Church and Ecumenical Partners True to our history, the Church and Ecumenical Partners that contribute generously to Tacoma Community House annually play a key role in our service delivery. Often, these partners are the first to encounter participants and lead them to our organization. Similarly, these partners are the first to donate goods, services, and funds to our organization so we can continue to change the lives of individuals in Pierce County and across Washington. | |
